Working at 35,000 feet

After hearing about in-flight wifi for quite some time I am finally using it. That’s right, I am currently on-line somewhere over the central US on my way to JFK. All I can say is why didn’t we do this sooner?

I was able to get a few hours of work done before my battery gave out. Now, if I can only get a laptop with a battery that lasts more than two hours I’d be all set. The speed was reasonable for most web applications but I didn’t try streaming video or anything like that.

If the next flight I’m on has in-flight wifi there’s a good chance that I’ll be taking advantage of it.
